The Lord has given us power over the enemy. Power to overcome all the tactics of the devil and take complete control over all his works. The authority is given to tread, crush, trample and demolish all powers of darkness.
The power of the Holy Ghost that is working in you is powerful and through him, you can do all things.
“Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”
Luke 10:19 KJV
We are the children of God and this order of sonship gives us the privilege to be positioned for supernatural power that comes from the Holy Ghost. God is powerful and mighty and his children should exhibit his character. How can a powerful God, have powerless children? No way, not possible. Therefore we should know who we are in Christ Jesus.
Power in Jesus’ name
The power is available but not many Christians are tapping into it. This is revelatory knowledge of the power we possess in Jesus’ name. Power over all the works of Satan, not just some but all. So we need to walk in the power and authority that God has given, and not allow Satan to triumph over us.
Satan is a deceiver, but God has given us the wisdom to discern his manipulation tactics and the power to overcome them all. Satan is a killer, but we have the power to tread on him.
“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”
John 10:10 KJV
Satan attacks when we least expect him to.
“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:”
1 Peter 5:8 KJV
The power is given to us:
Power to dominate.
The power to claim authority and dominion over all the works of the enemy.
The power to bring the enemy to subjection.
Power over sin.
Power over sickness.
Power to live in victory over the enemy.
We have the authority to live in freedom from the power of the enemy and not to allow him to plant fear in our hearts. So have faith in your God, and take him at his word.
Live in the divine power to tread and crush the head of the serpent and destroy all his works. If there is something holding you bound, then know that you have the power through the Holy Ghost to break free in Jesus’ name.
Be mindful that we crush the enemy under our feet because we walk in the anointing and the power of the Holy Ghost. Let us therefore rejoice and put complete trust in our mighty God. Let us never think that we are defeated, because the greater one lives in us. We are victorious in Jesus’ name and nothing can separate us from his love.
“Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.”
Romans 8:37 KJV
Take God at his word
We exercise this power by putting our faith in Jesus Christ. We should pray, fast, and speak the word of God over every battle we face and the devil must flee back to hell.
So when sickness tries to take control of your body, just plead the blood of Jesus and drive it out. Just reject sickness and disease and speak words of healing and wholeness according to the word of God.
Prayer
Father, I come to you in Jesus’ name. Father thank you for the power you have given me to trample and destroy the power of the enemy. Lord today I exercise that power and command all forces of evil to flee from my life. Lord, I stand in faith and pull down all the powers of darkness that are coming against me and my family today. Father, I take authority over all the works of the devil and I claim victory today. In Jesus’ mighty name, I pray. Amen.
