Do not be afraid Just have faith in God - Sweet Words of Life

Do not be afraid Just have faith in God

“By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.” (Hebrews 11:8 KJV).

Abraham had a strong faith in God. He didn’t question God when he told him to leave his people and follow his lead. May the Lord help you and give you strong faith in him. There is so much darkness and trials all around us. But God is a very present help in times of trouble. Whatever you are going through will pass. God will help you and give you the faith to believe that you will overcome them all.

Do not fear

Wait on God he will help you. “Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”(Isaiah 41:10 KJV).

Put your trust and faith in God who can do all things. Use your faith to overcome whatever situation you are facing. God is able to calm the storms in your life. Trust him today.

Act on the word

Put the word of God to work for you. Take God at his word. Because he is not a man so he cannot lie. “For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, the just shall live by faith.”(Romans 1:17 KJV).

Every word from the mouth of God is true. Faith is an assurance that the God you serve will show up for you when you call him. David had rooted and grounded faith in God. He went up to Goliath with his sling and stone and his faith in his God brought down Goliath. He reminded Goliath that ‘I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied.” (See 1 Samuel 17:45 KJV).

Stand on the word

When you face your everyday Goliaths, face them like David and say the same thing “I come against you in the name of the mighty God of Israel, and today he will deliver you into my hands.” Be bold and use your faith to conquer all your problems. Go through your wilderness and desert with God; he is right there beside you. He will bring you out wiser and stronger with magnificent testimonies.

Faith is now

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” (Hebrews 11:1 KJV). So stay in the now. It might not look like anything is happening but work your faith and believe that God will bring it to pass. God’s timing might be different from yours but, trust him, his words are true.

Believe with your whole heart that he will fulfill all his promises to you. Do not just hope for it, but have faith for it now.

Faith is personal

Use your faith to achieve greatness. There is nothing that your faith can’t do. Faith is personal, between you and God. Believe Him for the things that he has placed in your heart. Don’t listen to those who have no idea of what God has in store for you.

“And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place, and it shall remove, and nothing shall be impossible unto you.”

Matthew 17:20 KJV

With your faith, you can pull down your Goliaths like David.

Your faith will block the arrows of the enemy

“Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;”( Psalms 91:5 KJV). Trust God to send his angels to protect you from all evil darts of the enemy. God is your protector and shield from the enemy.

Faith  believes in the impossible

Faith will call those things that are not as if they were. Have faith in God; he is the mighty one the creator of all things and there is nothing hard for him. Look to him with great expectation. He will give you your heart’s desires. Your faith will put the power of God to work for you. Just reach out and touch the God of all impossibilities.

Faith perseveres despite adversities

Faith will push you to continue on your journey even if there are setbacks. When things don’t work the way you think they should. Faith gives you the strength to keep believing and trusting God that his words will eventually come to pass in your life.

His words will not fail. Touch God with your faith. Aim to please God by your faith. Faith is not passive but active, activate your faith and watch God move mightily in your life.

Faith is trust and believing with expectation

“But without faith, it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”(Hebrews 11:6 KJV).

Expect to receive from God and you will receive. A great expectation is the key.

“For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.”

Mark 11:23 KJV

Faith will give you the blessings of the father

Your Faith will give you an exceedingly great reward. In order to receive from God, you must believe his words and believe he can do what he says he will do. Without faith, it is impossible to please God.

The lady with the issue of blood had great faith in God. She pressed her way through the crowd to get to Jesus because she knew that he was the only one who could solve her problem. Jesus is looking for people with unwavering faith in him and his words. Like blind eye Bartimaeus who kept calling for Jesus to have mercy on him. Jesus heard him, saw his faith, and restored his sight.

Faith will drive out fear

Don’t allow fear to creep into your life and crush your faith. You need to water your faith daily with the word of God so your faith can grow. When you fear you open the door for the thing you fear to become your reality. Have faith and trust in God. The enemy will come in and wipe you out if you fear.

Fear is doubting the words of God and will take away your confidence in Christ. Fear can lead to anxiety, high blood pressure, and heart attacks. If you are living your life in fear, you are living in bondage. Bondage imposes limitations and restrictions. Walk in boldness and confidence, cover your going out and coming it with the blood of Jesus.

Faith will grow the more you hear the word

Read the word and meditate on it. The more you hear the word the more your faith will grow. The Holy Spirit will bring conviction to your heart and bring revelation and wisdom. Get into the word, and study scriptures that tell of the victory you possess in God.

Declare the words of life and walk by faith. Confess the words and encourage yourself in the Lord. Be strong, have no fear your God is near.

Work your faith

It is not enough to say you have faith but, you must show your faith. Put your faith to work, because faith without works is dead. (See James 2:26 KJV). Let your faith rise up and stay alive in Christ. Let the perfect love of God be in you and drive out all fear.

Use your faith, when the enemy comes with doubt and unbelief. Stand on the word of God and remind yourself what the unshakeable word says about the situation you are facing. The word will always stand firm against the schemes of the devil.

Speak the words of life and exercise your faith. Have confidence in your God that he will provide all your needs according to his riches in Christ Jesus, (See Philippians 4:19 KJV).

Fear will make things seem worse than it is

Fear opens the way for so many other things to come in, including, bitterness, anger, anxiety, and worry.

Stay close to God, and be in His presence daily. Don’t give the enemy room to confuse you and fill your head with his lies of defeat.  The enemy is looking for every opportunity to tear down your faith and plant fear. But you must remind yourself that you are more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus.

Fear can drive people to do things that they would not do under normal circumstances.

“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind,”

2 Timothy 1:7 KJV

Fear is a destroyer

The devil plans to break up and destroy everything you hold dear to your heart. “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life and that they might have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10 KJV). Fear of the unknown, and suspicion of others can destroy lives. Too many Christians are afraid of things that are afraid of them. Do not fear but have faith in God’s words, they will not fail.

Do not fear:

Fear is crippling.

Fear keeps people in bondage.

Fear prevents progress.

Fear leads to uncertainty.

Fear kills purpose.

Fear can lead to backwardness.

Fear will lead to confusion.

Fear can suck your joy.

Fear can allow you to miss your destiny.

Fear can lead to a lack of enthusiasm and inspiration.

Fear can let people despise what they are not familiar with.

Have faith in God

Faith brings salvation.

Faith will lead to favor.

Faith will make your whole life better.

Faith will make things happen.

Faith believes in the impossible.

Faith brings healing and deliverance.
