Sometimes God speaks in a loud voice, or he can be very gentle and you have to listen attentively to hear his voice. Jesus told parables to the people several times in the Bible. Christians should live their lives according to the rules and guidelines found in the Bible. Following the Bible makes it difficult to let yourself be misled by the ways of the world. Victory is yours today in Jesus’ name.

God upholds his words

Christians should not contradict the words of the Bible. It is most certainly not the voice of God if it is telling you something that goes against what he has spoken. We all need to hear from God. God’s words are peace and life.

The Bible has all of the guidance we will require. We only need to look for the pertinent passages in the Bible if we need assistance with parenting or marriage. For parenting counsel, far too many Christians are turning to the outside world, talk shows on TV, and the internet.

2. God speaks through other believers

When you are at a crossroads, he can use a friend or a preacher to guide you towards the right path. Their words may serve as motivation or a warning to prevent you from committing a grave error that you will live to regret. God is the creator of all things beautiful.

When God speaks through other people, it may be either reassuring or even stern. The voice of God is audible when we listen to anointed men and women of God. Sometimes the word might come at the time that we most desperately need it. We might even feel that the word is a direct answer from the father.

There is no set way or time for God to speak.

3. God speaks through his creation

In Genesis 1: 1 “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” There wasn’t anything made that wasn’t made by him. In Psalm 24:1 It says that “The earth is the Lords and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.”  It is time to claim your victory today in Jesus’ name.

4. God speaks through Jesus Christ

God speaks to us through his son Jesus Christ. Jesus came to earth to atone for humanity’s sins. Jesus revealed the will and heart of the Father to us. Jesus worked many signs and miracles throughout his earthly ministry, which are documented in the New Testament.

God says in John 10:27 “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.” Since we are his sheep, we have to pay attention to what he says and do what he says.

5. God Speaks through his Holy Spirit

“Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come, “(John 16:13).

Breathe on us Holy Spirit and give us strength to face lives challenges.

Hold on to him. Have Faith he will carry you through.

We should know God for ourselves, and who we are in Christ.

“For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth,” (Hebrews 12:6). Ask him today what is it, that he is saying, and what he wants you to learn from the battle you are in.

8. God speaks through Prayer

Prayer is a means of communicating with God. He will hear you while you are still speaking because he already knows what you will say. He does, however, want you to have the courage to seek his face. “Let us, therefore, come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need, “(Hebrews 4:16).

Pray without ceasing

When we pray and fast we become more receptive to God’s desires and purposes for us.  Jesus prayed, he taught his disciples how to pray in Matthew 6:9-13.
